Bona Fide is an exhibition which celebrates the work being done by artists in Sackville, elsewhere in Canada and internationally who are interested in materials and methods traditionally associated with craft and the handmade. The work in the exhibition covers a range of media broadly inscribed by the acronym DIY, so as to embrace embroidery, sewing, knitting, and crocheting, as well as silk-screening and posters, drawing, film, and paper cutting. The artists in the exhibition are: Amalie Atkins (Saskatoon), Elisabeth Belliveau (Montreal), Rachel Beth Egenhoefer (Oakland, California), Leah Garnett (Sackville, NB), Paul Henderson (Sackville, NB), Yoko Homareda (Nantes, France), The Little Friends of Printmaking (Milwaukee, Wisconsin), Jane McKeating (Manchester, England), Deirdre Nelson (Glasgow, Scotland), Karen Reimer (Chicago, Illinois) and Candice Tarnowski (Montreal)
